Once lived on bus stand and railway station, now among the top musician of Bollywood.

Being among the Top 10 contestant on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, Shashi Suman, once had spent nights on bus stand and railway station of City Of Dreams - Mumbai.

Shashi is now being counted among one of the top successful music directors. Living with the dream of being singer, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's advice made him a successful music director.

Shashi while sharing his experience, said he was among the top 10 contestants on the show but only the top 5 contestants chose to sing the song. When Sanjay Leela Bhansali, CEO Sandeep Singh heard the tune, he called liked the composition. Later they met and and he said, 'Mark my words, you are more a music director than a singer.' Shashi later worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the movie Ram Leela and later composed the music for Mary Kom.

Shashi is originaly from the Gaya district of Bihar and studied there till class X. Later he shifted to Lucknow to learn classical singing from Ustad Gulshan Bharti for six years. Then he moved to Mumbai for tossing his luck in 2008.

He also gave the audition of Indion Idol 5 in 2010 and was the finalist on the show. Then he decided to stay in Mumbai for his career.
